Playing PS1 Backups with multiMAN on CFW

About a week ago I received this email, detailing how to boot and play PS1/PSX backups using multiMAN. At the time I thought it was common sense, but now, I guess not... As I'm seeing this method posted across several scene sites I figure I'll fill ya in too. It's actually extremely easy. So lets get to it:

What you need:
A hacked PS3 running 3.55 (CFW) or 3.41 (w/ jailbreak dongle)
multiMAN 02.07.00 or later
A burned PS1/PSOne/PSX backup

Steps:
Boot your PS3
Insert your PS1 backup
Start up multiMAN
Enter file manager mode
Browse to /dev_flash/ps1emu
Press X on ps1_emu.self
And if that crashes try ps1_netemu.self.

Now grab a coffee, sit back and enjoy them crusty lookin' PS1 games all over again.

Also you should know Deank has released a new version of multiMAN, which will recognize your burned backups and can be directly launched from the XMMB game column.

Cobra USB Firmware v3.2 Released

Get your Cobra and get updated... The crew behind Cobra USB -- the popular 3.41/3.55 jailbreak dongle -- just released firmware version 3.2. It packs some worthwhile updates, namely when it comes to jamming PS2 titles.

Added support for PS2 optical disc (CD-R/DVD+-R) backups
PS2 original games are now region free.
Fixed a bug that caused incompatibility with several PS2 backups in ISO format.
Fixed some remaining PAL/NTSC problems for PSX games.
Cobra USB Manager will now output a mds file too when dumping a dual layer DVD or PS2-DVD. This file is not used by Cobra at all, but it can be used for burning a dual layer DVD+-R while keeping the original layer structure intact. This is mandatory when burning dual layer PS2 DVD's.
